Why the Misspelling? (Rejoyce)
The name was inspired by the founder’s grandmother, the matriarch of the family. Although Joyce did not have a college education or even high school, she was wise beyond any person, and truthfully the first counselor in the family. She was everyone’s go-to counselor to talk about their issues, and she always knew the importance of bringing God into it. In her final years, Joyce was diagnosed with cancer throughout her body. She did not let her cancer stop her from reaching people. Family members flocked to her bedside, and she still prayed for them and counseled them. She learned how to rejoice in suffering!
